My #1 goal for 2008 is to live my life with more focus. Right now I feel too scattered and that causes me to not do any one thing very well. The term “multi-tasking” has been hotly debated lately and I am guilty of trying to “do it all.” Now I am beginning to be a firm believer that multi-tasking is for the birds…it just doesn’t work! My new mantra for 2008 is to focus on one task and see it through to completion (or at least far enough along to where it is functioning), then move on to the next task. Let’s see how I do!

The number one goal for 2008, is that I will be able to make enough money per month to live a little more than comfortable and not feel that I am living week to week anymore. In doing this, it will allow the other goals I have in mind to unfold. I would like to be able for my husband to live out his passion. Also, I would like to be able to pick up the phone one day and invite my family on a trip to Vegas with no worries of finances on their part.

My goal is to start building a network of sites, setup to build email lists and sell things. And to earn on ads and/or selling with banners, and to build up traffic from different kinds of sourses.
And keep learning on the fly, notice I said start as it’s not a easy thing to do. And will take hard work, and things learned the hard way and lots of time, to get everything together and keep updating everything as I go.
Things are changing now as it use to be adsense was all that was needed, but not anymore you must put your eggs in more then one basket. I’ve seen many with just adsense left shaking their heads. After google made some big changes, that goes for park pages as well.
I want to stay flexable, and keep driving different things, so if things change I’m not left depending on one sourse for income. And at the same time keep learning new stuff, to be able to make adjustments as I go along.
While traffic is playing a numbers game for most, this is not what matters most what is needed is the right traffic. It matters little, if you get a million hits and they click off your site, as fast as they clicked on to it.
This is becoming very clear as time goes on, targeted traffic means the most. The days of playing the numbers game, is coming to a end that is clear. Spam emails don’t work, tricky SEO does not get the traffic that is needed as much anymore.
So many people think they can do it super easy, but even the best and most easy programs will not work. Unless you got a good worked out plan, and learn things as you keep moving ahead. It takes time and work, there is no real get rich fast programs.
I have got to figure out how to put all of this stuff together. Like income from adsense(everyone but me makes $10,000 a month from it). Everyone seems to make $1000 a day like for the last few years, so why haven’t they retired. If it’s so easy why can’t we all do it. OR are we the suckers funding the 48 people who have figured it out and put it together.

Q4: Excluding income goals, what is your #1 GOAL for 2008?
My income is being transferred more and more over to autopilot as I go through all my websites and blogs, so my main goal for 2008 is instead to focus more fully on enhancing all areas of my accumulated know-how. You might call it starting all over to recap the first love for the fun in making money online.
Also, travelling with my wife who turns 30 in October has become a priority. My dad had some health issues that awoke us to the need to enjoy one another more fully. Indeed to the benefit of our three kids also.
So focus on UNDERSTANDING what is known and on MAINTAINING what is around us. Any good gardener will always tender to his garden.
PS: Hope you won’t mind having to send the gift to Denmark….
Absolute Number One Goal is to get my first Website up and performing in February. The continuation of the number one goal is to have four more websites before 2008 comes to an end.
My main goal this year of 2008 is to stay focused and keep my eye on the prize. I am a little more organized, trying to do more in less time and stop wasting time checking emails. This year I will quite my job and become a fulltime Online Marketer.
My goals for 2008 besides earning a great income is to be able to give back to others and help them in their journey in life. My goal for 2008 is to learn how to create a constructive and efficient structure for my new life while I am learning to work from home (AND learning to BE at home all day!! YIKES!!). I need to replace my previous income as quickly as possible, and I have found it so incredibly challenging to create a daily routine without being swept away by distractions. My JOB was in a very goal, deadline and detail oriented, black and white, rule and regulation driven world for many years. As the Mortgage world crashed, my life as a Mortgage underwriter went down with it.
My #1 goal for 2008 is to get out and network more in order to build many and more solid relationships with other business people. Whether online or offline at events.
Having a solid community and network are obviously an integral component of success and enhancing that aspect of my business will ultimately benefit others as well.

My goal for 2008 is i hav to settle in a goob job in a toplevel company.Almost training is going in a small private company but trying in a level 5 company.so iam doing hard work to achieve my goal.
My #1 goal for 2008 is to get my website fully functioning. I’d like to develop membership areas as well. I also want to get my ebook written and sell it via ebay and the website.
1. Get back on my feet financially, get needed surgery done. Expand what I am doing now which is typography and proofreading to get the extra income needed.
2. Organize and get through all the info I have downloaded. Identify what needs to be done in the correct order to find or create products to market. Use the extra income from step 1 to fund needed courses, set up website, etc.
3. Test the ideas I have so far, sort out what works and doesn’t; rinse, repeat … oh, wait … that’s in the shower.
I will be happy to see any amount since I’m at zero right now. I am shooting for 5k per month by the end of this year and from there thy sky is the limit!

Financial security is the foundation supporting the #1 goal for 2008, by July, moving to a new residence in a community with a better school for my son, going into middle school. Preparing for that is releasing all the things in my life that are holding me back, things and people that I’ve outgrown or are no longer serving a purpose. Sounds harsh, maybe, but accepting the reality of being ready to move forward into new challenges, new place and new people. It feels good and I’m sure the things I release will go to new places and people who will love them anew.

One of my goals for 2008 is to spend more time with my wife and kids. I come home from work in the evenings and get on the computer. It would be nice to be able to get on the computer when the kids are at school and have the evenings with them.

Having dumped loads of “guru’s” in 2007 I have only got a selet few left, (Socrates is still on my guru list:
I believe that with Socrates and only 2 other mentors guiding me, I will reach my goals in 2008. With ture genuine mentoring from these guys, I know I will reach them.
I have a number of goals for 2008 with I am working very hard to reach. They are in no particualr order:-
a) To choose one niche out of 4 I sort of know about and turn that one into a top seller in both eBook form, article form and develop adsense sites. This is the area I need help with, turning an idea into a selling product.
b)Finish establishing my 3 other websites.
c) Build my list to at leaast 3000.
d) start my own membership site. A membership site solely for newbies. Making it affordable to join yet providing the best up-to-date products all with MMR or PLR to them.
So that’s one hell of a goal for me to achieve and all I can do is try my hardest. As they say no rest for the wicked

My goal this year is to become an effective internet entrepeneur receiving over $300 per day from my enterprizes.
For 2008, I’d actually like to see myself find some resolve to go somewhere. Thus far, my business has played out more like a hobby, and the bottom line surely shows it! I’ve been working on the Internet for many years now but somehow, I seem to have kept stumbling over my technical background and my need to have everything ‘perfect’ before doing anything. 2008 will be the year that this changes!

My goal in 2008 is to earn money and from home.I’m working right now and it’s very exhausting and the salary is not satisfying so I need to work a comfotale job with good salary.
Excluding income, my number one goal is to build site that draws a reasonable amount of visitors. I have some domain names and started working on copy for one of them. I would like to go online in the next 3-4 months, and have a nice list by the end of the year.

My number one goal is becoming more focused on working on building my online business. This focus is the backbone of trying to do better on line. I currently let personal distractions get in the way of my progress and don’t spend enough focused time online.
Goals for 2008:
1) Stop buying how to manuals, software etc. that does not fit in with my business model and just takes up disk space.
2) Concentrate on one project at a time without jumping from the latest fad to the next latest thing
3) Automate the whole internet marketing thing so that it becomes a “hands off” business rather than a “hands on” one.

To free myself from financial instability would be my #1 goal. In the process, ultra minimize my belongings to become more mobile and basic. Relocate to Europe for a new view of life while remaining Globally connected to the internet. Create photo journalistic documentation story along the way to inspire and share what I do for a living (on the internet)to those who ask. To pick up all the pieces pieces I have learned and put them all where they belong is a focus I am certain of now. Thanks S.Socratous, you caused my thinking to see clearly again. MyDD is brilliant.
My goal for 2008 is to set up a system to earn me $50 per month. That does not sound like a good goal but I have been working for years and have bearly got of the ground. Every email or document your read says “it is easy, watch or read this”. I do so, and then you find out the real work that has to be done. To get $50 every month will meant that I am airborn at last.
With the country heading more and more into a recession. I would like to find a way to help others and enrich their life, by developing something that would enable them to see light at the end of the tunnel. Not in such a way that there would be no accountability or responsibility, but in a way that would allow for breathing room. Perhaps some way that would encourage them enough so that they could reach out and assist someone else.
I don’t have it as a goal to become some reclusive middle age millionaire, but I would like to see a little more reward for the effort that I put forth. So that my wife and daughter could benefit and enjoy a few nice things.

My #1 goal is to get my first product created, my salespage up and my list building underway. I want to see a decent profit by July 28th (my birthday). Replace the income from my J.O.B by the end of the year. And then be able to quit my J.O.B on 7-28-2009(My 50th birthday).

My Biggest Goal of 2008 is to gain more focus, get my business on track, enable myself to move to New York where my friend is living, get health insurance, and get my physical problems worked out. I have a problem with my back called scollis and psorical arthritis so I can’t really stand or sit for long periods of time. I am trying to figure out an on-going way to make enough to pay for my severe medical expenses (about $70,000 per year) and still have enough to live on comfortably. Supplemental income)will end (along with medical care, prescription drug coverage, foodstamps, and all other such life sustaining benefits associated with being on a government assisted check)rather abruptly should I make any income at all. This will be a real miracle if it can be done, since on my fixed income of approximately

So many of us out there doing exactly the same thing, I think I’ll need to produce a product, software, ebook that’s unique and of interest for people to market.

My number 1 goal for 2008 is to get my health and fitness back on track. I’d let my health and fitness slide over the past 3 years due to my marriage breakup and the stress associated with the realization of what this ultimately meant for me and my 3 lovely daughters.
2007 was the year I decided to walk out of my marriage and the mindset that I had as a result of this was not particularly favorable.
So, this year I’m casting aside any of those thoughts I suffered with last year and am now looking positively to the future ahead.

Oh i forgot to say, i guess i would like to make money not millions, well it would be nice.
Hey who wouldnt but even enought to equal my factory job and hey that aint much and get out of the rat race.
My father worked his whole working life at the same place, he hardly ever took a sick day let alone a sickie, and thats aussie slang for a day off with out being sick.
Now he was about a year from retiring and finally being able to enjoy the rest of his life, when he developed lung cancer.
Well he was given 1-3 years to live but lasted 3 months.
Im not sure what i am supposed to say here or questions i should answer but thought i would say what i have said above.

I remember years ago as a rather visionary child in school (circa 1969) here in the South, I told my peers that things like personal computers, laser scanners, and tissue transplants were just around the corner for all of us, and was ridiculed, laughed at, and scorned, even the teachers of the schools here, purposely embarrassed and humiliated me whenever possible, and most aggressively….
It truly is a shame that young kids (like I was at that time) don’t realize the bitter core that most of those type lack-luster nay-sayers operate from….because, I was a truly talented and gifted child, but through their Herculean efforts and employment of Stupidity,jealousies, ignorance, and derision over a period of years, (give them an A for effort, as they never gave up, and worse, I didn’t speak southern back then, having been born here in the South but raised in the west), they all but destroyed that young dream/goal/future oriented mind which my parents had tried so hard to cultivate.
I love what I am reading here, so many lofty goals, so many hopeful dreams, and the will to promote and grow them….thanks for the opportunity to comment here again, and to congratulate all those who contributed to the poor self image and depression from which I suffered for so many years, stealing my youth and my dreams, but also, to congratulate all those who struggled with similar rejections and maltreatments and went on to crave with undaunted spirit the success which you and so many others seem to be offering those who have any resources to pay for the materials with which to get started.

Speaking again of my 2008 #1 goal. Along with growing multiple streams of residual income I hope to increase my marketing skills. This would include starting my own blog, traffic generation use web 2.0 strategies, and article marketing.

I just love the way experienced folk keep telling me “this is so simple, this is easy, just follow these simple steps” etc, etc. And I have yet to find a beginners guide to setting up your internet business that covers all the steps in a straightforward fashion. Either that or it’s a one step template affair that doesn’t give you what you really want.
Maybe I’ve found my niche?
Anyway, my goal is to have fun and make some dosh and try to do stuff properly, not just for the money.
I like the phrase “do what you love and don’t chase the money!”

I have run my internet business along side my own business as an electrician and this has meant not much spare time. I will also be re-establishing my Ebay business and yes Socrates I will be using Digital Dispatch, which incidentally was the first piece of software that I bought. I will not get sidetracked by every offer that comes along and most importantly I will not produce rubbish. Good luck to any newbies out there its a long haul but lets all meet at the top.

Very often I am finding that there is information overload which means that you start something and before you have finished there is something else that comes along to “tempt” you away from finalising the project that you are on. My wish for 2008 is to finally put everything together and build my first affiliate web site and try to promote all the people who have helped me thus far.

My number 1 goal for 2008 would have to be acquiring more knowledge about a few aspects of Internet Marketing.
One area is in webpage building that encompasses more powerful copy writing, audio, video and graphic presentations to clarify the points I am trying to convey to my audience so that they “get it” in a very short amount of time and feel compelled to take a positive action whether that be to sign up for more information via my newsletter list or go directly to an order page to acquire the item or multiple items I am promoting so that they can benefit right away.
Another part of this goal is knowing who to outsource much of the copy writing and technical web mastering to, who know what I want and can produce what I am looking for quickly at a reasonable cost.
I also have a goal to build an opt-in list to over 100,000 to a million or more targeted people (confirmed-buyers). I have a ton of great resources to share with people and I think you would agree that with a list of this size, whatever I promote would sell to enough of that list that my income goals would be easily met.
Speaking of which I intend to pay off all my current bills, Home Equity Loan, Mortgage, Life Insurance, fully fund 2 college funds- one for each child, and have enough money put aside to pay taxes on my home for the next 50 years along with another account for food, clothing, cars and adventure travel for my family of 4.
About 2 to 3 million should cover most of this.
Once I am debt free I know how to invest properly to grow money from small to very very big!
Another million would be nice to complete the landscaping plan I have for my property which includes a waterfall, stone walls and patios, Thermaspa Medical Jacuzzi (175+ jets!), indoor swimming pool, new gym, new home office and multi car garage (5 to 10 vehicles worth in capacity) solar and green building complex with large water holding tanks in the basement.
To accomplish these goals I have a pile of books 4 feet deep I plan on reading so as to absorb the knowledge contained therein in order to make all this happen.
That along with cleaning out and organizing my current office space and remembering to work out every day in the gym set up I already have (to drop 30 Lbs and get cut) would go a long way to fulfilling the life long dreams and goals I have accumulated to this point in life.
Lastly I reserve the right to adjust any and all of these goals as new opportunities and cool stuff presents itself to me.

My #1 goal for 2008 is to be able to give up my JOB and earn enough to be able to pursue my conservation projects.
If I can make a liveable income on autopilot, I will be able to dedicate more of my precious time teaching soon-to-be-forgotten outdoor skills such as hedge-laying, green woodworking, creating wildlife habitats, tree surgery and conserving ancient woodlands.
It’s not enough to give demonstrations twice a year at festivals. I am often asked if I could help out at one conservation project or another and because of my work commitments I am unable to do so.
There are so many people today who do now know how to use the hand-tools of our forefathers to create aesthetic and pleasing, not to mention, wildlife-friendly constructions for little or no cost. Instead they rely on noisy, polluting machinery not caring too much about the final result. A society of “it’ll do”.
So, to free up more of my time and dedicate this to my passion of the outdoors – this is my main goal for 2008.

I’m tired of reading how the marketing guru tells us how they make $1000’s and how easy it is but never really give us the tools on how it is acomplished…just have hand out saying give me your money so I can be a multi-millionaire. What a scam. The proof that it works does not impress me. So what? You have a massive mailing list so why wouldn’t you make millions. I can’t afford to buy everything you guys offer just to find out it does not work. $19, $29, up to $999 for special inside info when I don’t know if it will work for me. I really want to make money online but have no money. I think you guys should come up with a new plan. I have an idea that would work for us broke people but I’m not going to reveal it here.

My mind works 24/7 and so the ideas come much too fast for me to be able to act upon.
My goals for 2008 are not so simple. I wish to become more organized, become a better copywriter,
find a better way to keep my list informed of good products and services that really work, hence
allowing me to grow a more responsive list.
I find by the time I have tested a product and truly think it will work for others it is in many
cases a flooded market or is what may be considered an out-of-date product.
My main goal for 2008 is to consistently make ? per month on no more than eight hours per
day five days a week.
I started my Internet business because I wanted to be able to spend more time with my family.
Instead what I find is I am in front of this computer and at least 14 to 16 hours each day
trying to help people achieve their goals so much so that my goals have gone by the wayside.
Because of so many scams and idiots creating these viruses, I believe most people find it hard

My number one goal is to buy an acre of land and build a house. Actually, a shed. But it will be a great shed with a loft bedroom, a lot of art and books and a vegetable garden. There’ll be a small orchard and a few chickens too. I would also like to have more TIME. Time to write books and articles, time for photography, time for creative pursuits.
Aside from my income goal I would like to become more organised so that I spend less time working. I would like to have a much clearer mindmap of what I need to do, so that I concentrate more on essentials I would then like to have a lot more fun in my life!

For 2008, my main goal is to become more focused and organized. After literally spending thousands of my life savings on all the product launches over the the past 2 years, I have suffered from information overload and therefore I’ve yet to make one dime of income. I would like to spend more time with my husband and two year old because I’m always online 18 hours out of the day attempting to make something work which never does. I really need a vacation from the computer that way, I can regroup and get focused and NOT spend money on everything magic bullet product that comes out to make money online.

My absolute number one goal for 2008 is to get a 3.8 GPA. I’m finally getting into the swing of things in this school so I’m hoping I can improve my grades. I would like to continue with the online business idea, but unless I’m on a break from school then school is by far my first priority.

I want to see that in the top 100,000 sites on the web and have it not becasue of programs I use or tricks I do, but becasue the content helps people and the Free software saves them money. If I can help enough other people save on not having to buy software for home use that is online for free. while getting in the top 100,000 sites on the web. I will have reached my goal.

Using what I can learn I want to complete my personal mission on assisting a family in the Philippines to become self-sustaining in financial circumstances after losing the father/grandfather to the disease of Diabetes a couple of years ago.

I am just now getting setup in business all expenses have been outgoing, and now ebay is trying to stop all auctions, so I will now be working throught other means and plan not to spend any more money then needed to get setup and then will look at closely to make sure its not all a looser. I am retired and have spend well over 100 getting just setup to sell ebooks and now this puts a cramp in my style again. Does ebay not know what has made ebay so succesful over the years?
