Great post and a great reminder!

I’m also amazed that when I sign up to some people’s lists (including those of some well known marketers), they are still using the standard confirmation pages provided by Aweber.

Again, this is a key part of your internet real estate and it gives you the ideal opportunity to cross-promote or make one time offers. A marketer who I greatly admire, John Delavera, does this particularly well.

Great reminders there. I was wondering if placing a sign-up link to receive the download link would be an acceptable practice for purchases. It would provide you a way to capture email address as well.

Many of us already know and should be doing this. This is excellent advice for the IM newbie. There are many more ways to double even triple your sales and I am sure Socrates will get around to exposing them.
