the 3 elements info is great!
IT really does take all three to conduct a lucrative business.
I feel I have the product, some of the know how, now I am looking forward to the seminar for more of the know how!

Good analogy but to broad of an explanation. I think people would like to know the specifics of your Adwords success.

I was hoping your follow up blogs would cover the specifics on what type of ClickBank product you chose as well how you generated the profitable keywords.

Again the evaporating swimming pool analogy was good but too broad.

I always like to use the fishing analogy since I like to fish.

Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime.

Eyeballs = Fish
Wallet = Hunger
Piggybank = Bucket

So if I were teaching someone to fish using a broad analogy then I would tell them this.

Buy a fishing pole – Adwords campaign
Go to a lake that has fish – Eyeballs / Internet
Go to where they are hungry – Wallet / Looking to buy
Put them into a bucket after catching them – Piggybank

Now did that teach you how to fish? Probably not. Even though the information is valid it does not sufficiently teach someone how to become a successful fisherman.

A more detailed explanation would cover what type of fishing pole to get for the type of fish you are trying to catch.

Which lakes have the hungry fish and what lures are they biting on and where.

I was hoping that you would go into writing a successful Adwords ad to begin with.

The first key to Adwords is a great lure or headline to catch attention.

The second key is to offer a benefit in the second line. Potential food or information.

The third key is to offer a feature. Good food or useful information.

Give people more details on what you did specifically without actually giving them your Adwords campaign.

What type of ClickBank product did you choose? Did you choose a popular product with a high gravity rating? Explain gravity ratings and other details of choosing a good ClickBank product.

Once people clicked on your Adwords ad where did you send them? Did you send them to the vendors’ site or did you send them to your site. Did you review the product or did you try and sell it?

Did you make all the money from selling one Clickbank product or did you generate more sales on the backend?

How did you come up with successful keywords that got your Adwords ad placed on the first page of Google?

I enjoy reading your blogs but try to be more specific when making claims of generating a lot of money using a certain method.

People are impressed by what you can do for them. They are not impressed by how much you make or have.

My analogy – If you do make it financially then teach people how to fish, and don’t tell them how many fish you have.

Even if this means charging them for the fishing lesson.

I feel the Adwords blog and report was a free fish that I got which fed me for a day but it did not teach anyone how to fish which would feed them for a lifetime.

Just adding my two virtual pennies.

Me again! Just read your report, and some of the comments people left!

Finding out these things are as simple as asking! I always ask people upfront in my business how much they are willing to spend to fix their problem.

And they all have one, or they would not go to your site in the first place!

Depending on what they say to me, then I let them know what "level" of service they can expect from me. I have a whole system for going through this with people, but I would rather waste 45 minutes of my time with someone, then several days or weeks. In each of my business, the value of a loyal client in one year alone (including referrals) can be well over 25-50K.

I do not sell widgets, nor do I sell anything that has to do with marketing. I just knew I had to learn it, so I am! That being said, your clients and your time will appreciate knowing up front that they can go ahead and shop at walmart, instead of shopping on Rodeo Drive!

I will cut it short, but you do always have to speak to people like they are in 5th or 6th grade. If you don't, they do not always get it! That is something I always forget, because I am so passionate about what I do!

Hi Socrates,

I'm a teacher, and I want to congratulate you on explaining the basics in a unique and simple way, that makes the principles very clear.

Now I'm looking forward to your explanation of the 'how-to's!

cheers,

Hi Socrates:
Thanks for the report - your use of "eyeballs" is good because it reminds me to keep my "eye on the ball" - i.e. always go back to the 3 priciples you mentioned. I'm having the same problem as Thomas, but I think my problem is due to failure to focus on a single goal - and I need to learn the basics more thoroughly.
To Thomas - a suggestion: if you want to make yourself feel better - go to Ebay and sell some junk - that's what I did :)

hi socrates
i am new to your info. thanks for what looks good from my research. i have a series of questions about mydd. this is the only place where i can reach out that i know of. here it goes:
1. i have tried registering on your mydd.com forum but no registration emails were sent out at all so i could not post anything.
2. i also tried sending an email to sales@... but it bounced back.
non the less, here was my query so if you could respond that would be great:

hi there
i am trying to figure out if mydd is compatible with isale (for mac) or can be? it is similar to turbolist but better.
info is at http://www.equinux.com/us/products/isale/index.html
also, i don't want to manually copy a new auction for an item once it is sold on ebay. will mydd eliminate this process in conjunction with isale/turbo lister and mydd? I think it will by the sounds but just want to confirm before buying.
thanks

also, i can be reached at secret (at at at) caustictruths(dot)calm. i hope you get the address so please let me know.

Hi Socrates,

I think that the information that you provide in your report is fantastic.

Even though everyone thinks that they already know and understand what you said, they don't really understand what you stated in your free report.

I was shocked to read Bryan's comment. Before reading it I was thinking it was the best written report I had read in a long time - and I am a professional copywriter! Whether people KNOW this stuff is not the point. It is grabbing their attention and getting them to look at things in a different way that is the only way to make people DO what they may already know! And that's exactly what the report did.
