Hey everyone,

I was working with a friend to put up a bar to support the overloaded
branches of my fig tree a couple of days ago (I LOVE figs,
especially my home grown ones :), when I heard a weird
noise coming from behind a bucket that was laying around
by the fig tree…

I wasn’t sure what it was at first until my friend pushed the
bucket to the side.

We were both stunned to find this abandonned kitten
laying right there on the ground.

The vet said its like 2 weeks old and if I want to give
it up for adoption it has to be 6 weeks. So we decided
to take care of it at least until it turns 6 (weeks that is)

We are trying to figure out a name for it. (its male btw)

Socrates so at first I was thinking on naming it “Joel”
I am still pondering with that idea…

I ‘ve spend the last 2 weeks on the
phone consulting and developing
strategic plans with clients.

Shockingly I discover that over
90% of the people I talked to, are
making the “poor man’s” mistake.

See, setting a SPECIFIC goal is critical
for your success.

BUT…

Setting a GOAL that is UNREALISTIC
for your methods of trying to achieve
that goal, is suicide.

Let me explain…

Lets say your goal is to fill up an
Olympic sized swimming pool with water.

Can be done right? I see them filled up
all the time.

Now, if you are trying to fill up the
pool within 2 hours, the degree of difficulty
increases DRAMATICALLY.

But it is not impossible

If your goal is to fill up the pool within
2 hours time by using your *garden hose*, then my
friend, you have set your self up for a disaster.

That is an UNREALISTIC Goal considering your
plan to get you there.

Reaching 10K-20K/month within a year’s time
with the internet is a common goal among the people I talk to.

Today something really screwed up happened
to me and I wanted to share with you for a couple
of reasons.

1. I wanna get it out of my chest
2. You might wanna make sure this doesn’t happen to you

Let me tell you what happened.

I have a dedicated server with this company called “ThePlanet”
that I host some of my websites on. (I have other dedicated
servers with other companies as well)

At 9am today, sales stopped!

I checked my sales stats around 11am I thought
it was just getting slow today, then I left for some
meetings.

I got back around 6pm PST to find out that there
were no sales since 9. That was odd and out of
normal since tons of subscribers have been ordering
my latest Greek Easter special all day long since Sunday

I checked to find out that NONE of my payment
links worked all day because the planet unplugged the
server that hosts my payment system (and some websites).

UNPLUGGED MY SERVER!

You know what that means?
That I have to lose thousands of dollars in sales
and frustrate my subscribers and website visitors,
because some idiot did not update my email address
in their systems.

Before I head off to the Mass control
Seminar in San Diego this weekend, I wanted
