Turning a digital product into a physical one
used to be something savvy marketers did to
explode their sales. Now, when it comes to ebay
we are *forced* to move that direction.
Since the ebay changed happened, I started
receiving one question over and over again:

“How do I create a CD version of my ebook”

There are many ways to do this but one of my
favorite ones is “web style” approach.

If you are familiar with creating a simple website
this will be very easy for you to follow.

The basic idea here is to create a simple website
that delivers the ebook and all associated bonuses
and put the website on a CD. Then make it so
that when the CD is inserted in the computer,
the website starts automatically.

Here are the steps:

1. Create a folder on your computer that will
   contain all the files that will go on the CD.
   Call it: “CD folder”
2. Inside that folder, create another folder that
   will contain the files that the user will see.
   call it “My Files”
3. In the “My Files” Folder, copy your ebook file
   and all the bonuses.
4. Then inside the “My Files” folder, create a
   SIMPLE webpage (thanks.html) that thanks the
   customer for the order and has links to
   download the main product and additional
   download links for the bonusesTIP: since your thanks.html is in the “My Files”
   folder and your product files also in the same
   folder, the URL to the download is simply the
   file name (trust me).
5. Then lastly, you need to make the CD start
   automatically. I use a free tool called:
   “CD interface Studio” which is free to download
   from here:
   I use the CD studio to make the thanks.html
   start automatically when the CD is inserted.
6. Burn the CD
7. TEST the CD if it works - You are done

This process works great to convert your PLR products
into CDs/DVDs and make a lot more money this way.

Anyway we went to vegas for 5 days, then on the 5th day
we decided to extend one more day since we are having fun
then 6 days turned into seven before I realized I was
“vegased out” and decided to get back to cali.

So I posted some pictures as I promised you in my previous email.

Here is a picture of the “Welcome to Nevada” Sign we saw on the
way in

The view from the room was breathtaking to say the least. With
a full front view of the “Strip” I felt was in heaven.
Reason I took that room was the promise of a “panoramic” view
through floor to ceiling windows on both walls (corner room)

Here are a few pictures I took from the room (I took these
as I was writing my last email to you)

Speaking of piggybacking on other people’s advertising. You can
take it as BIZZARE or maybe as a great business idea…

When you thought you saw it all…

Ebay Slot Machines…. (Did you think ebay was into autions? hmm)

Here is a shot of me inside the Wynn. (yeah, that’s indoors)

I couldnt go to vegas and not visit the famous buffets. Here I am
on my 3rd plate

(which was a toped up plate of Alaskan King Crab Legs) mmmmm…

Vegas was pretty Cool.

Outside was HOT HOT HOT… 112 degrees per my car’s thermometer

(I saw it go up to 117 but did not think of taking a picture then)

And the California Agricultural checkpoint on our way back home

And…

they lived happily ever after…

I was working with a friend to put up a bar to support the overloaded
branches of my fig tree a couple of days ago (I LOVE figs,
especially my home grown ones , when I heard a weird
noise coming from behind a bucket that was laying around
by the fig tree…

I wasn’t sure what it was at first until my friend pushed the
bucket to the side.

We were both stunned to find this abandonned kitten
laying right there on the ground.

The vet said its like 2 weeks old and if I want to give
it up for adoption it has to be 6 weeks. So we decided
to take care of it at least until it turns 6 (weeks that is)

We are trying to figure out a name for it. (its male btw)

Shockingly I discover that over
90% of the people I talked to, are
making the “poor man’s” mistake.

See, setting a SPECIFIC goal is critical
for your success.

BUT…

Setting a GOAL that is UNREALISTIC
for your methods of trying to achieve
that goal, is suicide.

Let me explain…

Lets say your goal is to fill up an
Olympic sized swimming pool with water.

Can be done right? I see them filled up
all the time.

Now, if you are trying to fill up the
pool within 2 hours, the degree of difficulty
increases DRAMATICALLY.

But it is not impossible

If your goal is to fill up the pool within
2 hours time by using your *garden hose*, then my
friend, you have set your self up for a disaster.

That is an UNREALISTIC Goal considering your
plan to get you there.

Reaching 10K-20K/month within a year’s time
with the internet is a common goal among the people I talk to.

However, most people that try to achieve that
goal, will never get there because they are using
the wrong plan to do so.. It is no different than
trying to fill up the swimming pool in 2 hours
with their garden hose.

Not only you need to have a specific GOAL, you need to
make the RIGHT plan to get you there.

If your goal is to get to New York from Los Angeles in
5 hours, you better take a direct flight. It’s a realistic
goal. People do it every day. If you insist on driving,
you will NEVER MAKE IT on time. When you insist on
driving, your goal becomes an UNREALISTIC one.

So, set a GOAL with a Plan to achieve it.
A Goal without a plan is just a dream.
A Goal with an Unrealistic plan is a waste of time.

Let me tell you what happened.

I have a dedicated server with this company called “ThePlanet”
that I host some of my websites on. (I have other dedicated
servers with other companies as well)

At 9am today, sales stopped!

I checked my sales stats around 11am I thought
it was just getting slow today, then I left for some
meetings.

I got back around 6pm PST to find out that there
were no sales since 9. That was odd and out of
normal since tons of subscribers have been ordering
my latest Greek Easter special all day long since Sunday

I checked to find out that NONE of my payment
links worked all day because the planet unplugged the
server that hosts my payment system (and some websites).

UNPLUGGED MY SERVER!

You know what that means?
That I have to lose thousands of dollars in sales
and frustrate my subscribers and website visitors,
because some idiot did not update my email address
in their systems.

Let me explain what happened:

on Feb 4th I opened a ticket and asked for my
email address to be updated. I got confirmation
that it was done. (see pic below)

At some point the credit card I had in file
with them expired. they claim to have sent
an email to me letting me know they would
be taking my server offline if I did not pay them…

The sent the email at the OLD email address.
so I NEVER GOT IT
No courtesy phone call, no nothing.
so they UNPLUGGED the server

So they apologized and “waived” the $50
reconnection fee. They said they will
“investigate” why my email was not updated
when I was told it was.

I am still waiting for a manager to call me
back.

At least I got my server back online at 7pm and
probably be looking to move to a company
that gives me the courtesy of a phone call
before unplugging my business at will.

I thought you wanted to know that someone
