sitting at a coffee shop enjoying a nice cup<br />
of coffee with a friend. We just finished playing<br />
a 2 hour tennis game and we are getting ready<br />
to go have some more fun at the shooting range.</p>
<p>My friend is on the phone so I decided to write<br />
an email and share some quick tips that will help<br />
you make more sales.</p>
<p>&quot;7 things you MUST have on your Sales Page<br />
that significantly increase sales&quot;<br />
1. A compelling Headline</p>
<p>Having a headline that states your BIGGEST<br />
benefit and builds curiosity that leads your<br />
reader to read further down your sales page<br />
is a MUST.</p>
<p>MOST of your visitors will leave your page<br />
BEFORE reading anything more than your headline<br />
so the better the headline, the better the<br />
chance to read more and close the sale</p>
<p>2. Listing your benefits</p>
<p>You should have a list of your benefits each<br />
with an explanation on how this applies to<br />
your reader (i.e. what is it going to do for them)</p>
<p>3. Testimonials</p>
<p>Do not underestimate the power of testimonials<br />
Feedback from happy customers is one of the best<br />
forms of &quot;social proof&quot;.</p>
<p>If you are just starting out and have no<br />
customers, there are a couple of things you<br />
can do:<br />
- ask friends and family to review your product<br />
- Send review copies on forums to a few people<br />
in return for a testimonial<br />
- run a small PPC campaign before launching and<br />
give free copies in return for feedback</p>
<p>4. An image that represents your product.</p>
<p>an ebook cover, a software box, a DVD box image<br />
a report paperback cover image etc are some of the<br />
ways you can represent a digital product.</p>
<p>The image is extremely powerful. A picture is<br />
processed a LOT faster in people&#8217;s minds than<br />
blocks of text describing what the picture showcases.</p>
<p>5. a Professionally looking design</p>
<p>If your website is NOT professionally looking,<br />
then your potential customer will think that<br />
is how sloppy your product is as well and NOT<br />
buy from you.</p>
<p>A long form sales letter is Not the exception.<br />
there are many things you can do to make it look<br />
nicer. Here are a few:</p>
<p>- Put your letter in a 750 pixel table and center it<br />
- Put your text on white background<br />
- Use a border around your text<br />
- Layout the elements of your sales letter using<br />
&quot;balanced&quot; design principles<br />
- Use spacing and white space to enhance reability<br />
- etc etc</p>
<p>6. a PROMINANT order button/link</p>
<p>A light yellow box with a dotted border that<br />
restates the main benefits and call to action<br />
has proven to be a winner.</p>
<p>It is Extremely bad when your visitor is ready<br />
to order and cannot find your order button<br />
(it happened to me a few times.)</p>
<p>7. a Guarantee</p>
<p>You MUST have a quarantee. At least 60 days.<br />
It always increases conversions.<br />
But if you dont agree with me,<br />
think about it this way:</p>
<p>Your customers can contact their banks and<br />
do a chargeback which NOT only gives them<br />
a refund, but also hurt you (you end up paying<br />
on top of that). So why not offer the refund<br />
since you gonna end up giving it anyway.</p>
<p>Just do it and you will see what I mean by<br />
judging your results.<br />
8. (bonus tip)<br />
Your Bonuses.</p>
<p>Including relevant bonuses with your product<br />
almost always increases conversions. It increases<br />
your offer&#8217;s perceived value dramatically. Some<br />
people will even buy your product JUST for the<br />
bonuses. Make sure you give quality bonuses that<br />
complement your product.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I am amazed with how much money people <strong>leave on the table</strong> when they sell products online.</p>
<p>You have to understand the concept of <strong>online real estate</strong> . Not all pages or links are created equal. I am not talking about adsense or similar.  I am referring to places in your OWN network of pages that are more valuable than others.</p>
<p>For example, when you sell a downloadable product, naturally the person that buys the product will need to download it. So you give him a link to download the product. Lets say that&#8217;s a thank you page. Since the person has to pay before he can land on that page, <strong>only customers will see it</strong> .</p>
<p>So you have a page that is visited with PAYING customers. also, the timing is important here. The paying customers visit this page SOON AFTER they already paid for the product. They may even still have their <strong>credit card out.</strong> This specific page is <strong>more valuable</strong> than most other pages on your website. If you include a special discount for your other product on this thank you page, <strong>you WILL increase sales</strong></p>
<p>If you sell ANY PRODUCT. From plr, to resell rights to ebooks to anything that can be put on a &quot;thank you&quot; page. ALWAYS have at least one ad for your other product or service at a special price. It will do wonders. If you dont have another product, use an affiliate product.</p>
<p>As you can see in the above example, we identified a very valuable piece of &quot;virtual&quot; real estate and we exploited it to <strong>increase sales</strong> .</p>
<p>Similarly we look for more such valuable areas. Lets stay with the buying process. When you sell a product an email is sent to your customer (if you are not sending one <strong>START TODAY</strong> ). That email is another valuable piece of online real estate. The buyer will be looking for that email, so send him one and guess what should be included?</p>
<p>That&#8217;s right!</p>
<p>An invitation to buy something else for you. DO IT.</p>
<p><strong>The INSTANT upsell&#8230;</strong></p>
<p>Before you take the buyer to the download page, show them a &quot;new customer only offer&quot;. Since the customer will be looking for his download link, he will not rush to close that page. He will most likely skim it even if he is not interested right of the bat. But guess what? Instant upsells convert upwards of 15% for products triple the price of the original (in my tests)</p>
<p>So far I told you 3 simple ways to Double your sales.</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Cross Promote</strong> your other product at a discount on your thank you page</li>
<li>Send an instant email after each sale and include have an <strong>invitation to buy</strong> something else</li>
<li>Show a &quot;<strong>New Customer Only</strong> &quot; Offer immediately after they pay you (<em>before </em> they see the download page)</li>
</ol>
<p>The goal of this article is to help you <strong>identify valuable real estate</strong> that you <strong>ALREADY OWN</strong> and how to exploit it to increase your profits. The 3 examples above can be put into action right away. But use the same principles to identify more places that you can utilize.</p>
