Success Quote – Christopher Morley

Posted by: Socrates Socratous on: Mar 6th, 2009

"There is only one success – to be able to spend your life in your own way."
-Christopher Morley (1890 – 1957)

So true. No matter how much money you have, no matter how famous you are. If you cant live life on your own terms, If you cant have the lifestyle of your dreams, then you are being robbed of your own success.

In recent years the idea of "lifestyle engineering" is becoming more and more popular. Steering away from becoming wildly rich but actually plan your DREAM lifestyle and spend your life executing that plan.

Personally, this idea is what drove me to pursue Internet Marketing.

    That’s a great quote.

This is the principle that allows me to work from home and live my life to my rules; family first and work second!

    Thanks for posting.

I AM FORTUNE THAT I WAS ABLE TO BE SUCCESSFUL AT AN EARLY AGE..I AM PRESENTLY 80 YEARS OLD, AND I SUCCESSFUL ENOUGH TO DO WHAT I WANT WHEN I WANT. I HAVE MORE MONEY THAN I CAN SPEND…BUT MORE IMPORTANT THAN THAT, I SPEND A GREAT DEAL OF TIME WITH MY GREAT GRAND CHILDREN..IN FACT I DON’T WORK AT ALL DURING THE THREE MONTHS THAT THEY ARE OFF IN THE SUMMER..WE GO SWIMMING EVERY DAY AND DO WHAT EVER THE GRAND CHILDREN WANT TO DO…A FEW YEARS AGO A CLIENT PHONED ME FROM NEW YORK AND WANTED ME TO COME OVER SO THAT I COULD DO INDUSTRIAL CONSULTING WITH THEIR FIRM..MY RESPONSE TO THEM WAS..”SORRY I CAN NOT MAKE IT AS THIS TIME AS I AM BABY SITTING. I SHALL SEE YOU AS SOON AS THE CHILDREN RETURN TO SCHOOL”.
LIFE IS GREAT AND THERE IS NOTHING GREATER THAN SPENDING TIME WITH THE FAMILY.
